Windows Live Writer Beta (Test Post)

This is my first post using the Windows Live Writer beta.

Windows Live Writer is a beta product for posting to blogs such as Windows Live Spaces and others.

It’s a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor that runs on your local machine so you can better compose your posts.

Hooray! It even includes a spell checker for clumsy typists like me. You can insert pictures inline too.

Let’s try a picture, shall we?

How very cool! It includes picture positioning and a variety of effects such as watermarks, blur, sharpen, sepia tone and more.

You can add a drop shadow or a picture matte such as I have done here.

You can even drag the picture around for best placement.

You can change font color, add bulleted and numbered lists, preview how the post will look in your blog.

This will be a very handy tool for me. I may even post more often. 🙂

If you are interested you can get a copy of the Windows Live Writer here http://windowslivewriter.spaces.live.com/

Happy Blogging!
